Know all men by these presents that I Peter Keiper of Lower Milford Township in the County of Bucks and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Farmer. Have renounced released and quit claim and by those presents do renounce release and quit claim, all my right and title to the administration of the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of my late son John Keeper dec. and desire that the same may be committed to my son George Keiper of the same place aforesaid,

Know all men by these presents, that we , George Keeper farmer, Peter Keiper former both of Lower Milford Township in the County of Bucks and John Bichtel of the Borough of Easton in the County of Northampton and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania…. Are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the sum of One Thousand……dollars, to be paid to the said Commonwealth: to the which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, jointly and severally, for and in the whole, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals. Dated the sixteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Twenty Seven THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That if the above bounden….George Keiper……admistrator of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of John Keiper late of the Borough of Easton deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of him the said George Keiper…administrator as aforesaid, or unto the hands and possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the Register's Office, in the County of Northampton, at or before the seventeenth day of April……..next ensuing: and the same goods, chattels and credits, and all other the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, at the time of his death, which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of the said…George Keiper……administrator as aforesaid or unto the hands and possession of any other person or persons for him do well and truly administer according to law. And further do make, or cause to be make, a true and just account of his said administration, at or before the seventeenth day of March ……1828 and that he will diligently regard, and well and truly comply with provisions of an act, entitled .. "AN ACT RELATING TO COLLATERAL INHERITANCES," passed the 7th day of April 1826.

And all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattels and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the administration account (the same being first examined and allowed by the Orphan's Court of the County of Northampton) shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons respectively, the said Orphan's Court by their decree or sentence, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of the several laws now in force in this commonwealth, shall limit and appoint. And if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased, and the executor or executors therein named do exhibit the same in the said Registers office, making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly: and then the above bourden.

On the 17th day of March 1827, before me Charles L Eberle Deputy Register for the probate of wills, &c. came the within named George Keiper……who being duly sworn do __and say, He believes that John Keiper…died without a will, and that he will well and truly administer all and every the goods of the said deceased, and pay his debts as far as his goods

will extend, and that he will exhibit a true, full and perfect inventory of the goods of the said deceased within one month from the date hereof, and render a true account of his administration into the Register's office within one year or when he shall be thereunto lawfully required: and that he will diligently and faithfully regard, and well and truly comply with the provisions of an act, entitled " An act relating to Collateral Inheritances," passed the 7th day of April, 1826: and also, that he is a brother……of the said deceased, and that the whole of the said goods, chattels and credits he died possessed of, do not in value exceed the sum of five hundred dollars.
