Joseph H. Moninghoff

Joseph H. Moninghoff of Riegelsville died Saturday, February 3, 2001 in the Phoebe Richlandtown Health Care Center Where he had been a guest since November of 1999. He was 92.

He was an automotive electrician and had been employed by the Easton Electrical Devices Company for 42 years, retiring in 1974.

Born December 13, 1908 in Raubsville, PA., he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Mary Ann Breiner Moninghoff.

Mr. Moninghoff was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Riegelsville and of the men's club of the church.

As a child he helped his family tend the Canal Lock in Raubsville

He is surviced by his wife, the former Irene Pajor. The couple celebrated a 67 year wedding anniversary in April of 2000.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters. A daughter, Jennie Johnson, died in 1995, he was also predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
