   FOURTH GENERATION  4.  William** BILES I-C (7GP) was born in 1644 in Dorcester, County Dorset, England.  He was living before 1679 in Dorcester, County Dorset, England.  He died on March 19, 1710 in Pa..  He immigrated 4 Apr 1679 on to Ship 'Elizabeth & Sarah' to Delaware River area, Pa..  He was Sailed on the in "Elizabeth and Sarah".  He was living in Pennsbury, Pa..  He was a in Member of Wm. Penn's 1st Provincial Council.  From: 'Historical Sketches chiefly relating to the early settlement of Friends at Falls in Bucks County, Pa'. by G.W. Brown, 1882   William Biles, a co-temporary and much esteemed Friend of the immigrants who were primitive settlers about the Falls of the Delaware, was an active able and early supporter of the civil government founded by Wm. Penn in the Province of Pa.  He was one of the first delegates chosen to represent the inhabitants of Bucks Co. in the Provincial Assembly and to share in its important concerns was frequently confided to him in subsequent years. Nor was he less skillful in Church government: the ancient records of Falls MM shows him to have been instrumental in its first establishment, and largely concerned in the transaction of its business, the first of the MM's being held at his house. It would be difficult at this distant day to fix upon the precise period when Wm. Biles first settled at the Falls, or from whence he came, as there does not appear to be any record handed down to us from which such information might be gathered; but judging from the trust and confidence in him reposed, both in civil and Church government, it is evident that he was a man of no common character. There is a large brick dewelling of ancient date erected on the West bank of what is generally called Biles Creek, being a portion of the Delaware River, which circumscribes the western and southern borders of the fertile Island bearing the name of Biles; this house has been represented by tradition and from the initials inscribed upon it as the homestead of Wm. Biles; but it probably was the second house he had erected on the same site....appended to this land is a buriel ground containing the remains of slaves which is now obliterated.....there were those in Fellowship with Friends among the early settlers at the Falls who held slaves;.... but the evil of slavery was early recognized, and the system abandoned.   He was married to Johannah** HELLARD -C (7GP) on May 6, 1669 in All Saints Parish, Dorchester, Dorset, England.   Johannah** HELLARD -C (7GP) was born in 1646 in Dorcester, County Dorset, England.  She died on September 4, 1687 in Falls, Bucks County, Pa..  William** BILES I-C (7GP) and Johannah** HELLARD -C (7GP) had the following children:

  35.  Thomas YARDLEY III-C was born on January 1, 1720/21.  He served in the military in 1756 in Falls MM-Disowned/joined Military Co..  He died on May 12, 1803.   He was married to Mary FIELD -i (daughter of Robert FIELD -i ) in October 1751.       SEVENTH GENERATION   40.  Ann YARDLEY -C was born on June 10, 1749.  She died on April 25, 1816.   She was married to Abraham WARNER -i.   Ann YARDLEY -C and Abraham WARNER -i had the following children:

  41.  Sarah Ann** YARDLEY -C (4GP) was born on April 17, 1751.  She died on March 9, 1786.   She was married to Timothy** TAYLOR I-C (4GP) (son of Benjamin** TAYLOR -C (5GP)   and Hannah** TOWNE -C (5GP) ) on November 19, 1772 in Upper Makefield MM Pa..   Timothy** TAYLOR I-C (4GP) was born on August 6, 1729 in Newtown, Bucks County, Pa..  He died on September 26, 1788.  He served in the military Commissioned Judge in for the Administration of Oaths of Allegiance.  Severly censured by Friends of Falls MM for this position.  He was Makefield (Falls) or Upper Makefield MM Friends.  From 'Taylor Family' Book, " he (Timothy) and his brother built the meeting house in 1752." Timothy's daughters were married at Upper Makefield MM; probably the same meeting house built by their father and his brother. from: Ray Till 17966 W. Spring Lake Drive SE Renton, WA 98058  He was a Carpenter & Magistrate, Bucks County, Pa..  Timothy Taylor was a patriot on the American side.  A copy of an application that was made to the Sons of the American Revolution by a descendant of Timothy says he "assisted in establishing American Independence, while acting in the capacity of Magistrate, Bucks County, Pa.    Also, it references Cope's collection from Minutes of Friends' Meetings in Pennsylvania Historical Society - Tem #702 reads 'Timothy Taylor hath of late been prevailed with to accept, act in the station of a magistrate in this time of Commotions and is disowned, 5th of the 11th mo., 1777.' Anyone who proveddescendency from him could belong to the Daughters or Sons of the American Revolution. - from raysuzie@email.msn.com  Sarah Ann** YARDLEY -C (4GP) and Timothy** TAYLOR I-C (4GP) had the following children:

There is a Franklin T. Cadwaallader, born 1817 at Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio listed in the Ohio International Geneological Index on LDS records. The birth place is the same as this Franklin Taylor's siblings. Thus, I think this is a match so I am listing the birthdate and location and am removing Franklin T. from the Miscellaneous file. GNC 2/10/1898 location is at odds with this Franklin. by Gary Cadwallader, preparer.

  55.  William TAYLOR I-C was born on August 21, 1774.  He died on July 16, 1831.   He was married to Anna KIRKBRIDE -i (daughter of Jonathan KIRKBRIDE -i   and Elizabeth CURTIS -i ) on November 17, 1802 in Falls MM or Yardly, Pa..   Anna KIRKBRIDE -i was born in 1780.  William TAYLOR I-C and Anna KIRKBRIDE -i had the following children:

  166.  Walter** Alexander BUZBY -C was born on December 12, 1892 in Pa..  He died on June 26, 1980 in Quakertown, PA.  He was an Inspector/US Gauge& silk weaver.   He was married to Jennie** Mabel BENNER -C (daughter of William** BENNER (GP)-C   and Emma** Permelia UNKEL -C (GP) ) on March 28, 1914 in Quakertown, PA.   Jennie** Mabel BENNER -C was born on September 27, 1895 in Quakertown, PA.  She died on January 13, 1970 in Quakertown, PA.  Walter** Alexander BUZBY -C and Jennie** Mabel BENNER -C had the following children:

  171.  Howard Lester BUZBY -C was born on May 19, 1904 in Quakertown, PA.  He died on September 11, 1994 in Whitehall, PA.  Suicide  He was adopted.   He was married to Elsie May ETTER -i on June 21, 1925.   Elsie May ETTER -i died on October 2, 1992 in Allentown, PA ?.  Howard Lester BUZBY -C and Elsie May ETTER -i had the following children:

January 1975 in Calhoun County, Michigan.  She was adopted.   She was married to Clyde A. SMITH -i.   Clyde A. SMITH -i was a Partner in Radiator Shop w Hazen M. VanSickle in 1940 in Battle Creek, Michigan.  He was a Partner, Hazen VanSickle in 1940 in Wife; Evie Smith.  He was a Watchman, Grand Trunk Western RR in 1945.  He was a Watchman, N Y Central RR in 1946.  He was a Tower Man, N Y Central RR in 1947.  He died between 1951 and 1955.  He was a.  He was living in Battle Creek, Michigan.   174.  Lillie Mary VANSYCKLE -C was living in 1946 in Tuscon, Arizona.  She resided Stockton, Calif. & Tuscon, Ariz..  She was also known as Mary.   She was married to Daniel L. WAKEMAN -i.   Lillie Mary VANSYCKLE -C and Daniel L. WAKEMAN -i had the following children:

  177.  William Hutschinson SHOEMAKER -C was born on March 21, 1902.  He died on March 25, 1989.  He was educated Galdos Scholar.   He was married to Catherine Knight WITHERELL -i on August 29, 1931.   Catherine Knight WITHERELL -i was born on October 1, 1904.  William Hutschinson SHOEMAKER -C and Catherine Knight WITHERELL -i had the following children:
