Friends made application to Buckingham for permission to hold an indulged meeting on first days, the first meeting was held in 1835. Battle's History of BC, page 561. This small brick meeting-house was built in 1836 and still has its original wooden benches. The lower level expansion was done largely by members in 1955; additional improvements were made in 1998.
