CLARENCE A. DETWEILER 

CLARENCE A. DETWEILER,  a lifetime resident of West Rockhill Township, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was 86.

He and his wife, Louise C. (Mood) Detweiler celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in June 2003.

Clarence was the son of the late ALLEN H. and HATTIE (WATTS) DETWEILER.

He had been employed for 44 years as an assembler for AMETEK, Inc., U.S. Gauge Division, Sellersville, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Employees' Club of the Gauge, where he played Santa for 13 years. He also was a union steward for many years and a member of the International Association of Aerospace Workers' Union Local 1092.

Clarence was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving as a tank operator and mechanic.
