He was married to Martha MERRICK (daughter of Thomas MERRICK) in 1789 in Upper Makefield Bucks County PA.⁽⁷¹⁾ Martha MERRICK ^(72)(73) was born on 22 Nov 1768. She died 15/17 Oct 1853 in Byberry Philadelphia County PA. Amos MARTINDALE and Martha MERRICK had the following children:

79 x. Amos MARTINDALE was born on 27 Mar 1797. He died on 2 Sep 1821.
80 xi. David MARTINDALE was born on 3 Aug 1799. He died on 7 Jul 1801.
